Wroxham is a bustling little town and is regarded as the "Capital of The Norfolk Broads"
The railway station is on the northern edge of the town and a 15 minute walk will bring you to the river bridge and a hive of activity.
The town has been at the centre of the boating holiday industry from it's very inception in the late 19th Century.
The town features prominently in two books by Arthur Ransome - Coot Club and the Big Six, both books feature adventures and the virtues of life on the river.
Why not create your own adventure Combine a return journey by steam from Aylsham with an hour and a half cruise on the Beautiful River Bure and Norfolk Broads .
Wroxham has many places to eat including, fish and chips, small cafes and The Kings Head pub.
Not to be missed is the famous Roys department store which claims to be "The largest village store in the world"
The shop was started by Francis Roy to service the infant boating holiday industry and has grown in to a retail hub selling everything from Food to Fashion.
