The Friends of The Bure Valley Railway is the Independent Supporters' Organisation for the railway.
We help with a wide variety of the Railway’s projects and all the monies we raise from donations, fundraising activities and membership subscriptions go to fund projects to enhance the railway’s operation and visitors’ experience. Click

We hope that you enjoy your journeys on the Bure Valley Railway and when you travel you will no doubt notice that many of the tasks are being done by volunteers. This includes drivers, firemen, guards and assistants in the Bufferstop Books.
Our
Bufferstop Books shop at Wroxham sells preloved books and array of items which have kindly been donated to us.
If you think that you might be interested in volunteering please email
volunteering@bvrw.co.uk or ask for details from any member of Staff. Full training will be given but what is important is every one has something to give. The main requirement is your enthusiasm!
